Welcome to the Cahaba Elementary School Library!
Located in the Cahaba Homestead Project in Trussville, Alabama, the Cahaba Elementary School Library is located in what was previously the auditorium of the school. Our library is dedicated to helping students become independent learners who are prepared for life. We help students find books that are just right for them while teaching them to utilize and share information appropriately.
Please click the "News/Events" tab for current happenings in the library.
There is no such thing as a non-reader, there are just readers who haven't found the right book yet.
Circulation Policy:
Students are allowed to check out a maximum of 2 books at a time (1 book for Kindergarten). Students can check out their books for 14 days at a time and can renew books as needed. There are no fines for late books. If a book is lost or damaged, the student will be responsible for paying to replace the book.
